What if I accidentally printed a second (duplicate) label?

Since you were only charged once for postage, you should discard the duplicate label. The postage is linked to the label number, which is unique and can be used only once. The label number will appear in a duplicate postage list in the United States Postal ServiceĀ® database that is monitored by the Postal Inspection Service. If a customer intentionally uses a duplicate label, they will be liable for fraud.
